The math takes out the Square loan skim (17.25% of card sales) and about 3.3% processing, so the bottom line is real money, not invoice totals.

Watch list

The cards are the problem

  • Both of Chris's Square debit cards showed Locked in the Square dashboard on the morning of 8/2, and the Venmo debit declined twice on 7/31 for low balance. Update, 8/2 afternoon: the main Square card successfully paid AT&T $498.27, so it is working again. The subscriptions that already failed still need their retries or a nudge.
  • Both LinkedIn subscriptions were CANCELED by Chris on 8/2 ($89.99 All-in-One and $99.99 Company Page Core), saving about $190 a month going forward. One tail to watch: July was never collected on either, so LinkedIn may still pull the $189.98 of overdue invoices once.
  • Drippa's Shopify bill ($114.32) is Cindy's, not ours, per Chris 8/2. The failure notices still come to chris@ and it retries August 4 against our side, so it needs to move to her billing.
  • An Anthropic charge labeled "Claude Team" for $200 DECLINED 8/1 on the Square card. That is separate from the Max plan that renewed 7/20 on lauren@. What is this one?
  • Resolved: Sandoval Tax got its $500 on 7/17 after the 7/7 failed attempt, per Rocket Money's large-transaction alert.
  • There is an unread fraud claim in the BofA account's status tracker, seen 8/2. Open it when you are in the account.
  • Rent late fees are a pattern, not a one-off: June's $207.40 late fee shows in a 6/29 Zelle ("Late fee and 192 on next month"), July got paid in three chunks finishing 7/10, and August cost another $207.40 today. That is $414.80 in documented late fees this summer, plus about $47 in instant-transfer fees today. Rent money moved two days earlier erases all of it.
  • The mid-July decline wave has an explanation now: Rocket Money's balance alerts show the Square account down to $117 to $147 between 7/14 and 7/19. The account ran dry, subs bounced, and the cards show locked. It refilled Aug 1 when Cindy's and Firas's invoices paid.

Already lapsed

  • Web3Forms Pro was canceled by Paddle 7/28 after three failed $15 payments. The reliablepr.net forms and Dee's capture ride on Web3Forms. Decide if it comes back.
  • ManyChat Pro for Reliable PR expired 7/17 after failed $15 payments. Anything running on those automations is off.
  • Elementor's license payment failed three times, 7/1 to 7/9, price not in the emails. If it lapsed, Body Forward editing loses Pro features.

Bigger picture

  • PG&E balance is now $6,455.78, up from $5,121.83 in April. New arrangement signed 7/30: $200 on 8/27, then 24 payments of $260.66 starting 9/18. PG&E's own alerts project summer usage near $767 a month on top of that.
  • The Square loan takes 17.25% of every card sale, verified against the real skims: $905.62 off Cindy's $5,250 and $258.75 off CMD's $1,500 this month already. Loan is 27% paid: $4,847.38 down, $12,915.62 remaining of $17,763 total owed ($15,300 borrowed plus a $2,463 fee). With processing fees on top, roughly $79 of every $100 invoiced through Square actually lands. Not eligible for another loan. Two earlier loans fully paid off.
  • Corrected by Chris 8/2: Inovia is current, $1,600 on the 1st. The Square invoice that reads overdue is bookkeeping, not a missed payment. Square's overdue banner still claims 7 invoices worth $10,120 though, and since the one it shows turned out fine, the other six deserve an eyeball in the app.
  • Lauren's TWO surgeries at Mia Aesthetics: $10,628 combined, $1,372.80 paid, $9,255.20 still owed ($4,975.70 on the $5,873 one, $4,279.50 on the $4,755 one), and the clinic requires each full balance 10 days before its surgery date. The June "2 month update" email points at late August for the first. Pin both dates down, because that is the biggest money question in the house right now.
  • Capital One secured card (Lauren) needs the last $100 of its deposit by August 16 or the card is not issued.
  • Credit One is over its $300 limit ($303.17) and two older Capital One accounts show charged off. Both card rows now carry live numbers from the banks.
  • Cut from the bills list 8/2: ChatGPT, Squarespace, Kit, the Drippa Shopify bill, both LinkedIn Premiums, Instantly (Lauren's call), Discord Nitro, and Raidbots (the last two showed zero charges anywhere since at least June). Three catches: Kit still charges the card on the 22nd until its billing transfers to Dee; reliablepr.net renews 10/18 through the unpaid Squarespace account; and the thinkreliablepr.com domain plus its five inboxes were bought through Instantly, so they lapse if that account fully dies.
  • Still unconfirmed: Google Workspace's $592 remainder.
  • One good one: the Resurgent collection arrangement was completed 6/3. That debt is done.

Amounts come from receipts, the bank register, the portals, and Square, first verified August 2 and updated as things clear. The page checks for the other person's changes every 20 seconds.
